A 26-year-old man, identified as Bernard Polite, interrupted a church service at Jesus' Dwelling Place Church in North Braddock, Pennsylvania, by walking up to the front and pointing a gun at the pastor, Rev Glenn Germany. A parishioner tackled and disarmed the suspect before police arrived. The pastor, who ducked for cover behind the pulpit, expressed gratitude for surviving the incident, attributing it to a miracle, and described the man as dealing with mental illness.
