Kabosu, the 'Doge' Meme Dog, Passes Away at 18

Kabosu, the iconic shiba inu behind the famous 'Doge' memes, passed away at 18 years of age in Japan. The dog gained internet fame in 2010 with a photo that led to the creation of doge memes and inspired the cryptocurrency Dogecoin, which was supported by Elon Musk. Kabosu's owner, Atsuko Sato, a kindergarten teacher, announced the sad news and shared that Kabosu had leukemia and liver disease.
