Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the former armorer on the movie "Rust," is appealing her conviction for involuntary manslaughter in the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins by Alec Baldwin on set. Gutierrez-Reed was convicted for bringing live ammunition, violating safety protocols. Alec Baldwin, who pointed the gun, faces a trial for involuntary manslaughter in July. Gutierrez-Reed was acquitted of evidence tampering but faces additional charges for carrying a firearm into a bar. The judge noted a lack of remorse from Gutierrez-Reed. The appeal notice was filed as Gutierrez-Reed serves an 18-month sentence in a New Mexico penitentiary.
