Swedish entertainment group acquires KISS music catalogue and plans movie

Swedish entertainment group Pophouse, co-founded by Bjorn Ulvaeus of ABBA, has acquired the music catalogue, name, and likeness of rock band KISS, with plans to produce a movie about the band. KISS, known for their glam metal image and hits like "Rock And Roll All Nite" and "I Was Made For Lovin' You", have collaborated with Pophouse on digital avatars and stage performances. Pophouse also acquired Cyndi Lauper's music catalogue and is known for creating the "ABBA Voyage" show with digital avatars performing the pop group's hits.
