The Rugby Football Union (RFU) has defended television match official Stuart Terheege in the incident during the Saracens-Harlequins game where foul play on Owen Farrell was not reviewed despite being highlighted by a commentator. The RFU admitted procedural flaws but stated that Terheege had already decided on a penalty for the incident and was not influenced by the commentary. Harlequins are hopeful that Danny Care will stay with the team, but he may consider offers from clubs in France.
