Politics

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has voted to reinstate net neutrality rules, allowing the regulation of broadband internet access under Title II of the Communications Act. The rules were initially imposed in 2015 during the Obama administration but were repealed in 2017 under the Trump administration. The move, supported by Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel and opposed by Commissioner Brendan Carr, aims to establish a national net neutrality policy for consumer protection, public safety, and national security.
