The incident, which occurred at a block party without a permit with 200-300 attendees, involved at least two individuals firing weapons. Police initially reported 16 victims, but later revised the number, attributing the error to multiple reports of the same victims. Jazzmine Jacole Hall, 29, from Athens, Tennessee, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Trevon Hall, Skylar Hawn, Jesse Dupree, and Brandi Harris in a 2021 shooting over a custody dispute involving a 10-month-old child.
