A man was detained by French police at the Iranian consulate in Paris after reports of him carrying a grenade or explosive vest to avenge his brother's death. The man was surrounded by elite officers and later found to have no explosives on him. The area around the consulate was cordoned off, leading to the suspension of the Paris metro nearby.
