A cable car cabin in Turkey's Antalya city crashed, resulting in one death and 10 injuries as passengers plummeted to the mountains below. A rescue effort involving helicopters, mountain rescue teams, and emergency workers evacuated 184 passengers stranded in 25 cabins. The incident occurred on the final day of the Eid al Fitr public holiday in Turkey, a popular time for coastal resort visits. The cable car, operated by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, carries tourists from Konyaalti beach to a summit restaurant and viewing platform at Tunektepe peak.
