When asked Tuesday about the violent confrontation that left 17-year-old Isaac Shuman dead from stab wounds to his chest, Miu said that he had 'tunnel vison' and forgot what happened after the situation got heated. He said that prior to the confrontation, he was 'looking for his goggle kit' around the water tubes.
21-year-old Morgan Geyser, sentenced to 40 years in a mental hospital for the 2014 stabbing of classmate Payton Leutner to please the fictional character Slender Man, was denied release by a Wisconsin judge due to posing a risk of harm to herself or others. Geyser's request for release was rejected after psychologists testified, with one stating Geyser had claimed to fake psychotic symptoms. This was the second time Geyser had requested release after previously attempting in 2022.
