Two Ohio women, Karen Casbohm, 63, and Loreen Bea Feralo, 55, are facing felony charges after propping up the body of Douglas Layman, 80, in their car and driving to a bank to withdraw around $900 from his account before dropping him off at a hospital, leaving without providing information. Both women have been charged with theft and gross abuse of a corpse, have previous criminal histories, and could face up to a year in prison on each charge if convicted.
