Ukraine Claims Destruction of Russian Patrol Ship near Crimea

Ukraine\'s GUR military intelligence reported the destruction of a Russian patrol ship, Sergei Kotov, near annexed Crimea by waterborne drones. The ship sustained damage to its stern, starboard, and port sides. Ukrainian sources also mentioned the shooting down of 18 Russian drones over Odesa. Russia has not commented on the incident. The ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia has seen multiple attacks on Russian Black Sea fleet ships stationed near Crimea. Russia illegally annexed Crimea nearly 10 years ago, and tensions remain high in the region.
