West Yorkshire Police are investigating racist comments made by Conservative Party donor Frank Hester about former Labour MP Diane Abbott, where he said she made him \"want to hate all black women\" and that she \"should be shot\" during a company meeting in 2019. Hester, who has donated £10 million to the Tories, apologized for the remarks but claimed they were not based on her gender or race. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak described the comments as racist and wrong but defended keeping the donor\'s contributions. Diane Abbott reported the remarks to the Metropolitan Police.
