The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs criticized the U.S. for not using its leverage with Israel to allow more humanitarian aid into Gaza. The U.S. announced airdrops of aid into Gaza, which aid agencies have criticized. In Yemen, U.S. Central Command conducted strikes against a surface-to-air missile in Houthi-controlled areas. In response, Houthi militants launched an anti-ship ballistic missile into the Red Sea. Additionally, the Black Muslim Leadership Council aims to pressure officials, including President Joe Biden, for a permanent cease-fire in the Middle East.
