South Korean actor O Yeong-Su, known for his role in Squid Game, has been given an eight-month suspended prison sentence for sexually assaulting a woman in 2017. The 79-year-old actor was also ordered to attend classes on sexual violence and has the option to appeal the verdict within seven days. The court found the victim\'s records and claims to be consistent with the assaults that allegedly took place in a rural area during a theatre performance. O Yeong-Su became the first South Korean actor to win a Golden Globe for Squid Game before facing these charges.
