At least 29 Palestinians were killed in two separate Israeli attacks while waiting for aid in Gaza. The first attack resulted in 8 deaths in an airstrike on an aid distribution center, followed by 21 people killed and over 150 wounded by Israeli gunfire at a crowd waiting for aid. The incidents occurred amid the current conflict in Gaza, where most of the population has been displaced. Efforts to broker a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas have been unsuccessful.
