Matthew Perry\'s stepfather, Keith Morrison, shared that the late Friends star felt like he was overcoming his addiction but knew it was a constant battle. Morrison described Perry as a larger-than-life person who brought light to a room. Perry passed away in October at the age of 54, following a long battle with drug and alcohol addiction. The Los Angeles County medical examiner\'s office stated that Perry had been reportedly clean for 19 months before his accidental death from the acute effects of ketamine.
