The Idaho Supreme Court denied a pretrial appeal by Bryan Kohberger\'s lawyers to throw out the grand jury indictment in his quadruple-murder case involving the murder of four University of Idaho students in November 2022. Kohberger\'s legal team argued that the grand jury improperly indicted him on four counts of first-degree murder and one count of felony burglary. The ruling did not provide legal reasoning for the denial. The defense team also sought to delay the trial until 2025 and move the trial out of Latah County due to pretrial publicity. Kohberger faces the death penalty if convicted.
