Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and Wife Sentenced to Prison for Violating Marriage Law

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, and his wife, Bushra Khan, have been sentenced to seven years in prison and fined for violating the country\'s marriage law. This is the third adverse ruling against Imran Khan this week and comes ahead of national elections. Imran Khan has also been sentenced to 10 years for leaking state secrets and faces a 10-year disqualification from holding public office. It is unclear if the sentences will run concurrently or sequentially.
