Weathers was best known for his role as Apollo Creed in the \'Rocky\' movies and appeared in other films like \'Predator\' and \'Happy Gilmore.\' He was also a familiar face on TV, appearing in shows like \'Arrested Development.\' More recently, he starred in the Disney+ series \'The Mandalorian.\' Weathers\' character, Apollo Creed, died in the ring in \'Rocky IV,\' but his son, played by Michael B. Jordan, went on to lead his own boxing trilogy.
