Hall of Fame College Basketball Coach Lefty Driesell Dies at 92

Legendary college basketball coach Lefty Driesell, known for winning 786 games and leading four different Division I schools to 100 victories, passed away at the age of 92 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He coached for 41 seasons at Davidson, Maryland, James Madison, and Georgia State, reaching the NCAA tournament at all four schools and taking Maryland and Davidson to the Elite Eight twice each. Driesell was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2018 and the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2007.
