In Russia, police have arrested at least 100 people across eight cities, including Moscow and St Petersburg, who gathered to mark the death of opposition leader Alexei Navalny. Journalists and protesters were detained, with officers seen ripping away placards and dragging individuals from memorials. Protests outside Russia, like in London and Berlin, also took place with demonstrators expressing anger and calling for accountability.
