Donald Trump has been fined $354.9m and banned from running businesses in New York for three years as a result of a civil fraud trial that exposed a scam in which Trump exaggerated his wealth by over $3bn. The judge described the Trump organization\'s lack of contrition and remorse as pathological. In addition to the fine, Trump has been ordered to pay $90m to writer E Jean Carroll for sexual abuse and defamation. Trump plans to appeal the ruling.
