Alaska Airlines grounded its Boeing 737-9 MAX planes after a window and piece of fuselage blew out mid-flight, causing the cabin to depressurize and resulting in an emergency landing in Oregon. While only minor injuries were reported, aviation experts believe the incident is unlikely to lead to further groundings of the MAX aircraft. However, it is expected that airlines operating the MAX will conduct inspections of their fleets in response to the incident.
