Published: 04 January 2024 at 08:49

Technology

Microsoft has announced the addition of a Copilot key on Windows 11 PC keyboards, marking the first significant change to the Windows PC keyboard in almost three decades. The Copilot key will serve as an entry point to access Microsofts AI-powered assistant, Copilot, which can generate ideas, draft emails and documents, and summarize conversations. The new key will launch Copilot in Windows, making it easier for users to engage with AI on their PCs. The Copilot key will replace the right Control key on the standard keyboard layout and is expected to appear on new PCs and future Surface devices this Spring.
