Elon Musk has been ordered by a Delaware court to return the largest pay packet in corporate history, worth $55 billion, after a judge ruled that he strong-armed Tesla directors into awarding him the compensation. The court ruling came in response to a shareholder lawsuit filed by Richard Tornetta, who claimed that Musk and the Tesla directors had engaged in a flawed process to approve the compensation package. Musk, who immediately reacted to the ruling on his social media platform, has been instructed to work on a new pay package for himself.
