Korean Air Airliner Strikes Cathay Pacific Plane at Japanese Airport

A Korean Air airliner struck a parked Cathay Pacific plane at New Chitose Airport in Sapporo, Japan. Both airlines confirmed that there were no injuries. The incident occurred during taxiing and the cause of the collision is unknown. The amount of damage done has not been disclosed. Flight CX583 from Sapporo to Hong Kong has been cancelled as a result of the accident.
