Sen. Rand Paul does not endorse Nikki Haley for presidential nomination due to policy differences

Published: 12 January 2024 at 11:25

Politics

Sen. Rand Paul, a former GOP presidential candidate, has chosen not to endorse Nikki Haley for the presidential nomination. Paul cited policy differences, including her support for foreign aid and her alignment with the forever-war crowd on funding for the war in Ukraine. He expressed support for the other three GOP candidates and highlighted Haleys positions as not being libertarian or conservative. Meanwhile, both Haley and DeSantis have adjusted their campaign events due to the snowstorm in Iowa. Additionally, if the polls are accurate, Trump is on track to achieve the largest victory margin in a contested Iowa caucus, surpassing Bob Doles record from 1988.
