Benjamin Kiplagat, a former Ugandan Olympian specializing in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, was found dead with stab wounds inside his brothers car on the outskirts of Eldoret, Kenya. The motive for the murder is unknown at this time. Kiplagat represented Uganda in six World Athletics Championships and reached the semi-finals of the 2012 London Olympics. Kenyan police are investigating the incident, and authorities are urging for a speedy investigation to find and apprehend the perpetrators.
