Russia claims to have destroyed 13 missiles and 32 drones fired at its territory from Ukraine, resulting in the deaths of at least two people, including a child. The attacks targeted several Russian regions, including Bryansk and Belgorod. In response, Russia launched strikes on Ukraine, killing at least 37 people and injuring over 160. The capital city of Kyiv was among the cities hit, with an additional seven bodies recovered from the rubble. The attacks were deemed the deadliest for civilians in Kyiv, prompting a day of mourning in the city.
