Actor Pierce Brosnan has been cited and charged with violating park rules at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming after allegedly walking in off-limits thermal areas. The charges against Brosnan include foot travel in thermal areas and violating closures and use limits. Venturing off designated paths in the park can be dangerous, with past incidents resulting in burns and even death. Brosnan is scheduled to appear at the Yellowstone Justice Center on January 23 for a court hearing. Yellowstone National Park officials declined to comment on the incident.
